Oh my goodness, this post makes me jump for joy and makes my creative senses come to life. Friday is Valentine`s Day…a whole day dedicated to love and romance. I am a true romantic at heart and although this day has become very commercialised, it is a special reminder to spoil the person you love (and an excuse for me to dream up a Valentine`s Day Styled Shoot with a few talented individuals)! Todays post is all about creating a romantic atmosphere in your very own home. Maude, owner of A-List Interiors, and I decided on a tea tray to start the morning and a rustic dinner table setting that could be created quickly and without too many costs involved.
Ana from Nice Ribbon Atelier created all the delicious treats and she was also the lady behind the quirky `love coupons` and graphics in the tea tray setting. The most exciting thing is that you can download her work and use the little `love` coupons, such a fun and simple way of treating your someone special. I was over the moon when Ana showed me the tea bag biscuits that she had made specially for the shoot, they are far too cute!
Bruce from Mardon Photography was behind the lens.
I was in my element and could have spent hours learning from Maude as she moved things around the table creating the perfect look. I love the fresh herbs as it keeps the table looking organic and slightly more casual. Pizza seemed the logical match for this theme and those homemade looking biscuits were truly delicious. I definitely think I will be creating this look next time I have a dinner party as it was simple and easy.
All the quirky tags on the table were designed by Kathryn from House of Hawkes and are available to be downloaded.
