A Homely Dubai Brunch

Posted on: May 2nd, 2014 by Carolyn No Comments

As summer is creeping up on us here in Dubai we are all making the most of being outside.  Friday brunches are a popular pastime in this city and they are usually held in one of the fancy hotels. I prefer the idea of having people over to my home and having a relaxed brunch in the garden.  Something a little different and creative.  Having people over to your home, setting the table and adding your personal touch to the decor  is definitely one way of showing loved ones you care.   I thought I would use the decor from our Easter Shoot to inspire you, cool colours of blue, green and white to decorate our table.  Enjoy the images captured by Jo Cole Photography.

Where do I even begin to thank Jo from Jo Cole Photography for these images.  It was an honour to work with you!

Maude owner of A-List Interiors used her creative skills and passion  to assist me with decorating the table.

Cake and biscuits-

Ana owner of Nice Ribbon Atelier designed an Easter cake that was a focal point on the table.  I was blown away when she showed me her creation as it tied up the theme beautifully.  Her carefully crafted lace biscuits were delicious and added a fun aspect to each place setting.

A very big thank you to the talented Nada from Vintage Bloom who supplied us with the most stunning flowers and containers to complete our table!
